Trigger Edge

Use the Left, Right Arrow keys to select between: -
• Rise
• Fall
When set to Rise, triggering of the noise event audio file recording will begin when the
Trigger Level is reached on the positive rising edge of the input noise, i.e. when the noise
increases past the trigger level.
When set to Fall, triggering of the noise event audio file recording will begin when the
input noise decreases falls below the Trigger Level on the negative falling edge of the
input noise.

Trigger Level

Use the Left, Right Arrow keys to adjust the Trigger Level as follows: -
• Low Range: 45.0 to 110.0 in 0.5dB resolution steps
• High Range: 45.0 to 135.0 in 0.5dB resolution steps
The Trigger Level is the decibel (dB) level at which when the input noise level crosses,
on either the set Rising or Falling Edge, the trigger is set and the noise event audio
recording begins.
It is not possible to adjust the value beyond 110.0dB on whilst on the Low range. If this
is attempted the following warning will be shown: -
