    LOCKING THE INSTRUMENT RESETTING PARAMETERS The LOCK feature is used to lock the instrument keypad. All functions are therefore disabled including the POWER button. The function is often used to avoid inadvertent operation or tampering while the instrument is being used. The CLEAR button is used to reset data.
