Weightings & Range
Select Weightings & Range to change the measurement range and the weightings that
are applied to each measurement.
Scroll through the available options using the Up or Down Arrow keys and use the Left
or Right Arrow keys to amend the selection.

Range

Your dBAir is fitted with two operating ranges named Low and High.
The Low range measures linearly from 25dB to 100dB whilst the High range measures
linearly from 45dB to 140dB.
For display scaling purposes, the displayed ranges on the instrument show 20dB to
100dB for the Low range and 40dB to 140dB for the High range.

Frequency Weighting

Your dBAir sound level meter simultaneously measures sound on Measurement 1 and
Measurement 2 and each can have independent Frequency Weightings applied.
Select between 'A', 'C' or 'Z' weightings.

Time Weighting

Your dBAir sound level meter simultaneously measures sound on Measurement 1 and
Measurement 2 and each can have independent Time Weightings applied.
Select between 'S' - Slow, 'F' - Fast or 'I' - Impulse weightings.
