Antenna Jack

This BNC connector accepts the supplied flexible an-
tenna or another antenna designed to provide a 50-
Ohm impedance on the Aircraft Communication Band.
121.5 Key

Press and hold this key to access the emergency
frequency (121.5 MHz) instantly.
PWR/VOL Knob
Â
Turn this control clockwise to turn the transceiver
ON and to increase the volume. Counter-clock-
wise rotation to reduce the volume and turn the
transceiver OFF.
Loudspeaker

The internal speaker is located here.
Microphone
Ä
To transmit, speak into the mic opening into this
opening in a normal voice level, while pressing
the PTT switch.
LED Flash-Light
