Add Circuitless IP Address (CLIP)
Assuming no other CLIP address have been added, we will use CLIP Id 1. This address is used for the
OSPF Router-Id, LDP, and for the BGP Router-Id.
ERS8600-1: Step 1 – Add CLIP interface 1 and enable OSPF
ERS8600-1:5(config)# interface loopback 1
ERS8600-1:5(config-if)# ip address 10.91.1.1/32
ERS8600-1:5(config-if)# ip ospf
ERS8600-1:5(config-if)# exit
