Storage and Manufacturing

7.1.

Storage

M35 module is distributed in a vacuum-sealed bag. The restriction for storage is shown as below.
Shelf life in the vacuum-sealed bag: 12 months at environments of <40º C temperature and <90%RH.
After the vacuum-sealed bag is opened, devices that need to be mounted directly must be:
Mounted within 72 hours at the factory environment of ≤30º C temperature and <60% RH.
Stored at <10% RH.
Devices require baking before mounting, if any circumstance below occurs.
When the ambient temperature is 23º C± 5º C, humidity indication card shows the humidity is >10%
before opening the vacuum-sealed bag.
If ambient temperature is <30º C and the humidity is <60%, the devices have not been mounted
during 72hours.
Stored at >10% RH.
If baking is required, devices should be baked for 48 hours at 125º C± 5º C.
NOTE
As plastic container cannot be subjected to high temperature, devices must be removed prior to high
temperature (125º C) bake. If shorter bake times are desired, refer to the IPC/JEDECJ-STD-033 for bake
procedure.
