13 Zero position of the differential feed

 Set the stitch length to "0".
 Fit adjustment gauge 1
 Loosen screw 2 until crank 3 is diffi cult to turn on the shaft.
 Whilst continuously turning the handwheel rotate crank 3 so that crank 4 does not
 Tighten the screw 2.

Rule
The differential feed 5 should not move with the stitch length regulation "0" and the ad-
justment gauge 1 attached.
