Pin Description
DSR (Data Set Ready)
DCD (Data Carrier Detect/Link)—A high indicates
signal received.
DTR (Data Terminal Ready)
Ground—Connects to ground (negative supply
potential) on chassis.
RXD (Received Data)—Supplies received data to the
connected device.
Ground—Connects to ground (negative supply
potential) on chassis.
TXD (Transmitted Data)—Accepts TX data from the
connected device.
CTS (Clear-to-Send)—Can be used for flow control or
as an output to key another connected radio.
RTS (Request-to-Send)—Can be used for flow control
or to key the transmitter.
