WARNING: For your safety, please take the time to familiarize
yourself with the handlebar controls and with its movements and balance
before attempting to ride your scooter with the motor engaged. Please see our
demonstration videos on our website www.glion-scooter.com.
1. Battery Disconnect. The Glīon Model 215 has a battery disconnect located behind the
rider's right side of T-bar protective wrap. Unclasp the Velcro located on the right side of
the T-bar wrap and peel back the protective wrap to expose the battery disconnect.
Separating this connection isolates the battery from the controls to prevent inadvertent
activation during shipping or airline travel. Please make sure the pins on the connectors
are properly aligned before completing the connection. There is an arrow sign on each
water-resistant connector. See (D) above. The pins are aligned properly only when the
two arrows point toward each other. Improperly aligning the arrows on the
connectors before making the connection may damage the connectors. If the battery
is fully charged and the scooter will not turn on, check this connection.
2. Powering On/Off: To turn the scooter on or off, you must press and hold for about 2
seconds the red on/off switch as shown below (F). The LED display is lit when the power is
on and dark if off. The scooter will automatically turn off after five minutes of non-use.
3. Headlight On/Off: To turn the headlight on or off, you must first turn power on the
scooter. While the scooter power is on, quickly press the on/off switch once, the headlight
should be turned on. Flash press a second time, the headlight will be turned off. Again, to
tun on or off the scooter, press and hold for about two seconds. Turning the headlight on or
off is a quick press.
