6. General Viewing Function

The following describes the basic functions of your TRIAX ST-HD527CI while watching
satellite or Terrestrial TV or listening to Radio channels.
TRIAX ST-HD527CI enables you to watch Free To Air Satellite and Terrestrial channels or
various scrambled channels if the relevant CAMs and Smart cards are installed. It will
receive Standard Definition, (SD), Terrestrial channels and Standard plus High Definition,
(HD), satellite channels. (Note that reception of High Definition satellite channels
depends on what is being broadcast by the service provider). High Definition channels
can be viewed on HD ready TV‟s via a HDMI cable, (not included).
Programmes can also be recorded, using the PVR functions. This requires an external
memory device, (not included), connected to the ST-HD527CI via the USB connector.
While watching a programme, the current channel information can be displayed on the
bottom of the screen if you press the "i " button on the RCU.

6.1 Select Channel

To select a channel, use the PR+, PR- keys on the front panel or Ch+, Ch- keys on the
RCU. Alternatively enter the channel number using the numeric keys on the RCU.
In addition to the above functions, there is a more convenient way to change the channel to be
viewed.
Press "" key on the RCU and the channel list will be displayed on the screen. By pressing
"" again or the EXIT key on the RCU, the channel list will disappear.
To select a channel, use the ", " buttons on the RCU to navigate up or down the channel
list. The selected channel will be highlighted. Press the "" button on the RCU to watch the
selected channel.
To scroll up or scroll down the channel list a page at a time, press the "Page Up" or "Page
Down" buttons on the RCU. Alternatively press the " " buttons on the RCU.

6.2 Pause the frame

Press the Pause, (II | ), button on the RCU to pause the screen. To resume viewing, press
the Pause, (II | ), button again.
