A. Two transducers are standard: 2cm2 and 5cm2 transducers, both operable at 1 or 3 MHz.
B. Transducer clamps, which are used to hold the transducers when not in use.
C. The TIMER buttons are pressed to increase time in 1 minute intervals. Press to decrease time in 30 second
intervals. The timer buttons may be adjusted during operation.
D. The DUTY FACTOR buttons are used to select the ultrasound output:
Continuous (100%) for thermal applications.
Pulsed (5, 10, 20, 25, 33, or 50%) for sub-thermal applications.
NOTE: Duty factor starts at continuous and goes to 20% then changes sequentially from 50%
through 5% before returning to continuous.
E. The FREQUENCY button is used to select:
1 MHz for deep tissue penetration, or
3 MHz for superficial tissue penetration.

The DIGITAL SCREEN displays information on treatment parameters
G. The ASSIST KEY is used in conjunction with one of the following buttons to obtain additional information
regarding:
