3.5 Maneuvering the seat
1. Press the "Mode" button one or more times until an icon for seat function appears in the
control panel display - see illustration.
2. Move the joystick to the left or right to select a seat function. The icon for the seat function
selected appears in the display.
3. Move the joystick forwards or backwards to activate the function.
Below is an example of the icons that may be shown in the display. Which icons are shown
varies depending on the seat model and available functions.
3.6 Joystick
The joystick is used to regulate the speed of the wheelchair forwards or backwards, to turn
and to brake.
The speed is regulated proportionally by moving the joystick forwards or backwards and the
speed is directly proportional to the movement of the joystick (small movement low speed -
large movement high speed).
The wheelchair is turned by moving the joystick to the left or right.
The wheelchair is braked by moving the joystick back to the neutral position or letting it go.
