Belt
If the engine stops due to overheating, or if the battery is frequently
discharged, check the belt for loosening or breakage.
Belt Tension Check
The tension is correct if the belt is displaced by approximately 10 mm when
your thumb presses it at a middle point between water pump and alternator
pulleys.
Otherwise, adjust it by loosening the adjustment arm and distribution housing
cover bolts.
