Chain dialing

Use this feature to initiate a dialing sequence from numbers stored in the
directory, call log or redial while you are on a home call. This feature is
available only for home calls.
Chain dialing can be useful if you wish to access other numbers (such as bank
account numbers or access codes) from the directory, call log or redial list.
To access a number in the directory while on a home call:
1.
Press MENU/

to highlight Directory, then press
3.
Press
/SELECT to select Home directory.

to scroll to the desired entry or perform an alphabetical
search (page xx).
5.
Press
/SELECT to dial the displayed number.

To access a number in the call log while on a home call:
1.
Press MENU/

to highlight Call log, then press

to scroll to the desired entry.
4.
Press
/SELECT to dial the displayed number.

To access the redial list while on a home call:
1.
Press REDIAL/

PAUSE

until the desired number displays, then
PAUSE
press
/SELECT. If you do not press
MENU
seconds, the number displayed will be dialed automatically.
You cannot edit a directory entry while on a call. For more details about the
directory, see page 48.
You cannot copy a call log entry into the directory while on a call. For more
details about call log, see page 55.
You can only view the numbers in the directory, call log or redial while on a
call and cannot erase any entries.
Press and hold OFF/
to exit redial, directory or call log while on a call.

Review the redial list

1.
Press REDIAL/PAUSE when the handset is not in use.
2.
Press

or REDIAL/
to browse. You hear a
PAUSE
double beep when you reach the beginning or end of the
redial list.

Dial a redial entry

1.
Press REDIAL/PAUSE when the handset is not in use.
2.
Press
,
or REDIAL/
to browse until the desired number displays.
PAUSE
3.
Press
/HOME/
or
to use the home line.
FLASH
- OR -
Press
/CELL to use the cell line.
4.
Press
/SELECT to dial the displayed number. If you do not press
MENU
press
/SELECT within two seconds, the number displayed will be
MENU
dialed automatically.

Save a redial entry to the directory

1.
Press REDIAL/PAUSE when the handset is not in use.
2.
Press
,
or REDIAL/
to browse until the desired number displays.
PAUSE
3.
Press
/SELECT twice.
MENU
4.
The handset displays ENTER NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
5.
Press MENU/
to move to the name.
SELECT
6.
The handset displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing keys to enter a
name (see step 6 of Create a new directory entry on page 49).
7.
Press
/SELECT and then Saved displays.

Delete a redial entry

1.
Press REDIAL/PAUSE when the handset is not in use.
2.
Press

to browse until the desired number displays.

/REMOVE to delete the displayed number.
