    Battery installation and charging Install the battery as shown below. Plug! Light on! Click! Charge for at least 30 minutes before initial settings. Charge for 12 hours before initial use.     Headset attachments Earbud To remove the earbud from the headset earpiece: Hold both sides of the earbud and then pull the earbud until it separates from the earpiece. To attach the earbud to the headset earpiece: Choose an appropriate earbud. Press the earbud towards the earpiece until it clicks into place.

    Quiet mode You can turn on the quiet mode for a period of time. During this period, all tones (except paging tone) and call screening are muted. When you turn on the quiet mode, the answering system turns on automatically. Press and hold when the handset is not in use.
