    4. ASSEMBLE THE PROdUCT Follow instructions below to assemble this product. Note that in this manual the words “left” and “right” are used to refer to the product and its parts. As such, these designations correspond to the “left” and “right” sides of a person in position to exercise on this product.

    STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assembly Follow instructions below to install the pedestals and handlebar assembly. The illustration below provides an overview of this step.
  • Page 14 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) Remove screws (41) from the pedestal mount as shown.
  • Page 15 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) Follow instructions (a) through (e) below to thread the data cable into the right pedestal. Before assembly, make sure the left & right pedestals are align with left and right sides on the main frame. (a) First, remove the zip tie on the cable in the right pedestal mount and then stretch the cable out as shown.

Before assembly, make sure the left & right pedestals are align with left and right sides on the main frame. (a) First, remove the zip tie on the cable in the left pedestal mount and then stretch the cable out as shown.

Hold the data cable at the top of the right pedestal (A3), and insert the bottom of the right pedestal (A3) onto the pedestal mount. Place the water guard (A5) on the pedestal higher than the motor cover. Repeat the process for the left pedestal (A7) assembly.
  • Page 18 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) Follow instructions (a) through (e) below to finish installing handlebar assembly. (a) First, remove screws (42) (43) from the handlebar assembly (A2). (Note: Remove screws on both sides.) (b) Securely connect the left and right cables from the handlebar assembly (A2) to the left and right pedestals (A3) (A7) cables.
  • Page 19 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) (d) Place the removed screws (42) (43) back into the handlebar assembly. Tighten screws (42) in area B first and then tighten screws (43) in area C next.) (e) Finally, press the screw covers (31) into the screw heads.
  • Page 20 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) After the handlebars are in place, secure pedestal screws in area A on left and right sides.
  • Page 21 Follow instructions (a) through (d) below to install the front handlebar assembly. (For T655L 16” touch screen only.) (a) Install the waterproof back into the front handlebar assembly (A8) if necessary. Make sure the arrow of the waterproof ring upward as shown.
  • Page 22 STEP 1 install the Pedestals and Handlebar Assy. (Cont.) (c) Connect the cables from the front handlebar assembly (A8) and the handlebar assembly (A2). Collect the cables and tuck them as indicated by arrows back into the hole of the front handlebar assembly (A8) for safety.

    STEP 2 install the display Follow instructions below to install the display onto the cowling. The illustra- tion below provides an overview of this step.
  • Page 24 STEP 2 install the display (Continued) Follow instructions (a) through (f) below to install the display assembly. (a) Remove screws (44) from the handlebar (A2). (b) Insert the display (A1) onto the handlebar assembly (A2). (Note: aim properly to avoid damaging the display board.) Push the display (A1) slightly upward and then insert the display mounting bottom into the opening on the handlebar assembly.
  • Page 25 STEP 2 install the display (Continued) (c) Remove screws (49) in the back of the display (A1) and then remove the rear cover (46) from the place marked with “OPEN” as shown. (d) Hold the display (A1) forward slightly as shown and then press downward when securing screws (44).
  • Page 26 STEP 2 install the display (Continued) (e) Pull the cables out of the handlebar (A2) and then connect to the cables from the display. After connecting the cables, push the black cover to cover the end of the cables as shown. Finally, tuck all the cables back into the display for safety.

    STEP 3 install the Right/Left Side Covers Put the right/left side covers (A6a) (A6b) in place and secure them with screws (35). Finally, put the water guards (A5) in area B down against the motor cover on both sides. Note: Inspect whether the screw sockets and screws in area C are in place on the product.

    STEP 4 Move the Treadmill into Place for Use First, place hands under the frame in area A, lift the treadmill and then roll it into position as desired.

    STEP 5 Level the Treadmill Press downward on the rear part of the treadmill as shown. Inspect whether the treadmill rests flat on the floor. If the treadmill wobbles, adjust treadmill levelers as follows: (a) Loosen the leveler nut. (b) Rotate the leveler foot downward, touching the floor. (c) Rotate the leveler nut upward, against the frame of the product, to secure this position.

    STEP 6 Align the Walk Belt (a) First, make sure the treadmill is on a leveled surface and the incline is at (b) Start the speed at a lower rate of 3kph/2.5mph to check if the walk belt is aligned and there is an equal amount of space between walk belt and side-rails on both sides.

    STEP 7 Adjust Walk Belt Tightness As you exercise, does the walk belt suddenly pause and then regain traction? Or, if you bear down against the walk belt, does the belt not pause whatsoev- er? If either of these two conditions occurs, the walk belt may be too loose or too tight.

    STEP 8 install the Power Cord (a) First remove screws (45) from the power cord socket on the product. (b) Insert the power cord into place on the product. (c) Secure the power cord with screws (45) and then insert the other end of the power cord (A11) into the appropriate power supply socket in the wall.

    STEP 9 TV Terminal and Network (a) NETWORK: Connect to Ethernet. (b) AV Terminal: Connect to DVD Player or Media Player. (c) TV: Connect to ATV (NTSC or PAL) or DTV.

    STEP 10 install the TV cable NTSC system: Directly connect your local area connector as shown. PAL system: Insert NTSC to PAL Adapter (33) as shown and connect to your local area connector.

    MAiNTENANCE Circuit Breaker (a) A circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by overcurrent/ overload or short circuit. A spring located under the push button causes the button at area D to lift up and the breaker to trip as shown. (b) After the fault is repaired by qualified technicians, press the push button to reset circuit breaker to resume normal operation as shown.
