UNIT REMOVAL
6.4.4 IMAGE TRANSFER BELT UNIT REMOVAL
1. Remove the revolver cover (4 screws).
2. Move the transfer belt tension lever [A] from
the image transfer position stud [B] to the
tension stud [C] (1 snap ring and 1 connector).
3. Remove the transfer faceplate [D] (3 black
screws, 1 knob, 1 connector, and 2 clamp).
NOTE: 1) When re-installing the transfer
faceplate, tighten the knob [E] at
first before tightening other
screws.
2) After re-installing the transfer
faceplate, set the transfer belt
tension lever to the image
transfer position stud [B] again.
4. Remove the image transfer belt cleaning
unit [E].
5. Pull out the image transfer belt unit [F]
until it stops. Then, release the stopper
[G] and remove the transfer belt unit
from the main unit.
