Platform Management The platform management sub-system is based on the integrated baseboard management ® controller (BMC) features of the Intel 6321ESB I/O Controller Hub. Intel Server Board S5000VCL TPS Connector/Header Locations and Pin-outs ® Power Connectors The main power supply connection is obtained using an SSI compliant 2x12 pin connector (J9B1). Two additional power related connectors; one SSI compliant 2x4 pin power connector (J9E1) supports additional 12V. One SSI compliant 1x5 pin connector (J9C1) provides I monitors the power supply.

Intel Server Board S5000VCL TPS Intel® Light Guided Diagnostics ® Post Code Diagnostic LEDs During the system boot process, BIOS executes a number of platform configuration processes, each of which is assigned a specific hex POST code number. As each configuration routine is started, BIOS will display the given POST code to the POST Code Diagnostic LEDs found on the back edge of the server board.
