Update Channel Lists

The process for updating the channel list via the USB is identical to that used for updating the software
(channel list name: channel.xml).

Save Channel list to USB

The receiver offers you the option of saving the channel list you are currently using to a USB device, so
that you can recover it later if required.
First connect your USB device to the receiver, using a free USB port on the receiver. Then select the
"Save Channel List to USB" selection fi eld and confi rm you want to start saving by pressing the

button. During the saving process you will see the "Software Update by USB" menu; however
you cannot navigate within this menu until the saving process has been completed.
The function "Update Channel List" allows you to reload the saved channel list to the receiver at a later
date, should you so require.
The channel list "channel.xml" is copied to the USB storage medium using the
following folder structure:

After calling up the menu, you will see the
following on-screen display:
Here you can restore the channel list
and the installation settings to the factory
settings. You can use the
to select the components to be restored
to their factory settings. In each case use

the buttons to select "Yes" or "No".
In addition you can select whether, after restoration, the fi rst installation should be started automatically,
as with the initial set-up.
Once you have defi ned all the settings, use the
fi eld and confi rm the start using the
status at the delivery of the unit.
