Warning
Sitting in a reclined position while
your vehicle is in motion can be
dangerous. Even if you buckle up,
your seat belts cannot protect
properly when you are reclined.
The shoulder belt cannot protect
properly because it will not rest
against your body. Instead, it will
be in front of you. In a crash, you
could move into it, receiving neck
or other injuries.
Warning (Continued)
The belt could move up over your
abdomen and cause internal
injuries.
For proper protection, when the
vehicle is in motion, have the seat
backrest upright. Then, sit well
back in the seat and wear your
seat belt properly.

Seat Adjustment

In order to permit safe airbag
deployment, do not sit nearer
than 25 cm to the steering wheel.
Never adjust seats while driving
as they could move
uncontrollably.
