If the flat tyre is on the rear,
position the jack under the rear
axle and get as close as
possible to the shock absorber.
3. When positioning the jack
under the rear axle housing,
confirm that the slot on the
upper side of the jack fits on
the axle.
Attach jack handle and, with
the jack correctly aligned,
rotate the handle until the
wheel is cleared of the ground
slightly.
4. Remove the wheel nuts.
5. Remove the flat wheel.
6. Remove any rust or dirt from
the wheel bolts, mounting
surfaces and spare wheel.
7. Install the spare wheel.

Danger
Never use oil or grease on bolts
or nuts because the nuts might
come loose. The vehicle's wheel
could fall off, causing a crash with
the risk of death.
8. Reinstall the wheel nuts by
hand until the wheel is held
against the hub.
9. Lower the vehicle completely
by turning the jack lever
counterclockwise.
10. Tighten the nuts in a crosswise
( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ) sequence.
Tightening torque is 140 Nm.
11. Stow the replaced wheel and
the vehicle tools, see
Tools 0 275.
12. Check the tyre pressure of the
installed tyre and also the wheel
nut torque as soon as possible.
Have the defective tyre renewed
or repaired
