Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for good performance. Check the items listed in the table below
at the suggested interval to help keep your equipment in good shape for years to come.

Check that cable is tightly fastened and is not
damaged. Refasten if necessary. Replace if
damaged.

Check voltage. If out of rating correct problem.
Dust or dirt on the cabinet may be removed with a
dry cloth. Do not use chemical-based cleaners to
clean the cabinet; they can remove markings and
damage the cabinet.
Marine life on the transducer face will result in a
gradual decrease in sensitivity. Check the trans-
ducer face for cleanliness each time the boat is
removed from the water. Carefully remove any
marine life with a piece of wood or fine-grade
sandpaper.

Do not apply paint, anti-corrosive sealant or
contact spray to coating or plastic parts of
the equipment.
Those items contain organic solvents that can
damage coating and plastic parts, especially
plastic connectors.
