Cross-connection / short circuit
– Crossing both the outputs (A1 and A2) is detected by the sensor
and results in turning off the outputs (OSSDs) at the next safety
request. The outputs A1 and A2 remain turned off until the fault
is eliminated and a voltage reset has been performed.
– A short-circuit between one of the outputs (A1 or A2) and the
supply voltage causes the other output (A1 or A2) to turn off
when there is a safety request.
