Web-based User Interface (Web UI)

The Web UI provides access to various Switch configuration and management windows. It allows the user to view
performance statistics, and permits graphical monitoring of the system's status.

Areas of the Web UI

After logging into the Switch's Web UI, the following page will be displayed. The Web UI can be divided up into three
distinct areas, and they are described in more detail in the table below.

Function
In this area a graphical near real-time image of the front panel of the Switch is
displayed. This area displays the Switch's ports and expansion modules and shows
port activity, depending on the specified mode. Some management functions,
including port monitoring are accessible here. Click the D-Link logo to go to the D-
Link Website.
In this area, folders and window links are available for selection. Software features,
that can be configured or monitored on this Switch, are grouped together in folders
based on protocol and feature categories. Selecting a window link in this area, will
change the display window of area 3.
In this area physical configuration, management, and monitoring can be done to
software features available in the Web UI of this Switch.
