Preface
1. Thermocouple Input Unit: AFP3420
This manual explains the thermocouple input unit with 4-channel input possibility. The unit can convert the data
from a K or J type thermocouple sensor into digital values for processing them in an FP3 or FP10S in the following
specifications:
0 °C to 200 °C/32 °F to 392 °F,
- K type:
0 °C to 400 °C/32 °F to 752 °F,
0 °C to 600 °C/32 °F to 1112 °F or
0 °C to 1000 °C/32 °F to 1832 °F range
0 °C to 200 °C/32 °F to 392 °F,
- J type:
0 °C to 400 °C/32 °F to 752 °F or
0 °C to 600 °C/32 °F to 1112 °F range
Note:
S Be sure to use a J or K type thermocouple sensor which conforms to DIN standards.
