Power Management Features
The Power Options control panel icon in Windows allows you to configure power management features for your
computer. You may conserve power through individual components such as the monitor or hard disk (by means of
Power Schemes), or you may use either Standby or Hibernate mode to conserve power throughout the system
The computer's power button, sleep button (Fn + F4 key combination), and lid (closing the lid) may be set to send the
computer in to either Standby or Hibernate mode.

Hard Disk Drive
The hard disk drive is used to store your data in the computer. The hard disk can be taken out to accommodate other
2.5" parallel (PATA) hard disk drives with a height of 9.5 mm.
The hard disk is accessible from the bottom of your computer as seen below.
