8.3

Opening the burner

Disconnect the electrical supply from the
burner.
DANGER
 Loosen screws 1)(Fig. 44) and withdraw the cover 2).
 Disconnect the hoses 7).
 Remove screws 3) and pull the burner back by about
100 mm on the slide bars 4).
8.4

Closing the burner

 Push the burner until it is about 100 mm from the sleeve.
 Only for long blast tube burner: unscrew the screws 9) and
remove the two extension bars 8) from the slide bars 4); then
fix the screw 9).
 Re-connect the leads and slide in the burner until it comes to
a stop.
 Refit screws 3) and pull the leads gently out until they are
slightly stretched.
 Reconnect the hoses 7).

 Only for long blast tube burner: remove the screws 9) and
install the two extension bars 8) onto the slide bars 4); then
fix the screw 9).
 Disconnect the electrode leads and then pull the burner fully
back.
 Remove the screw 6) and extract the internal part 5).
