When SEL is Full
This feature allows the user to determine what the BIOS should do when the system event
log is full. Select Erase Immediately to erase all events in the log when the system event log
is full. The options are Do Nothing and Erase Immediately.
BMC Network Configuration
The following items will be displayed:
IPMI LAN Selection: This feature displays the IPMI LAN setting. The default setting is
Failover.
IPMI Network Link Status: This item displays the IPMI Network Link status. The default
setting is Dedicated LAN.
Update IPMI LAN Configuration: Select Yes for the BIOS to implement all IP/MAC address
changes at the next system boot. The default setting is No.
Current Configuration Address Source: This feature displays the source of the current IPMI
LAN address. The default setting is DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).
Station IP Address: This feature displays the Station IP address for this computer. This
should be in decimal and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).
Subnet Mask: This feature displays the sub-network that this computer belongs to. The
value of each three-digit number separated by dots should not exceed 255.
Station MAC Address: This feature displays the Station MAC address for this computer.
Mac addresses are 6 two-digit hexadecimal numbers.
Gateway IP Address: This feature displays the Gateway IP address for this computer. This
should be in decimal and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).
VLAN: Select Enabled to enable IPMI VLAN support. The options are Enabled and Dis-
abled.
LAN Channel 1
IPV6 Support
Select Enabled for IPV6 support. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Configuration Address Source
Use this feature to select the IP address source for this computer. If Static is selected, you
will need to know the IP address of this computer and enter it to the system manually in the
field. If DHCP is selected, AMI BIOS will search for a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol) server attached to the network and request the next available IP address for this
computer. The options are Unspecified, DHCP and Static.
