Using the Battery

Recharging the battery pack (PDV-LC10 only)
Recharge the battery pack as described below.

Note:
The battery charger is compatible with
supply voltages between 100 and 240 V AC
and can be used universally. When you
want to use it on an overseas travel,
however, be sure to prepare a power plug

adapter matching the local power outlet.

Connect the power cord to the
battery charger.

Connect the power plug to the
power outlet.

Fit the battery pack into the
battery charger.
Fit sections 1 then 2 securely.
• When recharging starts, the recharge
lamp lights in red. If the recharge lamp
blinks, the battery pack is not being
recharged; wait a while before trying to
recharge again.
• The recharge lamp goes out when
recharging completes. After confirming
that the lamp is extinguished, remove
the battery pack and power cord.
• Recharging usually completes in about
2 hours 30 minutes, though this is
variable depending on the operating
conditions.
Notes on the battery pack
• The battery pack can be used for
about 300 cycles of recharging and
operations, though this is variable
depending on the operating
conditions.
• Charge the battery pack fully before
using it for the first time.
CAUTION
• Place the battery charger on a level, flat
surface for recharging.
• Do not short-circuit the terminals of the
battery charger.
