Basic settings

Charging the rechargeable batteries of the mobile units

The mobile units are fitted with a built-in Li-Ion
rechargeable battery which provides an operating
time of approx. 12 hours.

Charging the rechargeable battery for the first time

Place each mobile unit into a charging slot ². Since
both mobile units are identical, there is no
preferred charging slot for a mobile unit.
The hook key
starts flashing in green every two seconds.
Note:
Make sure the mobile unit in the right-hand
charging slot is connected to the headset to avoid
the warning for missing audio connection (orange
flashing and beeping).
Do not interrupt the charging process for at least
two hours!
Charging the rechargeable battery while telephoning
(Hot Swap™)
When the rechargeable battery of a mobile unit is
going flat
a low buzzing tone can be heard in the headset
twice every 5 seconds,
a low buzzing tone from the mobile unit can be
heard twice every 5 seconds – provided the buzzer
is switched on (see "Switching the buzzer on/off"
on page 27),
the LED flashes in red twice every 5 seconds,
the rechargeable battery of the mobile unit has to
be charged within the next 30 minutes.
