Maintenance

The CCS 1000 Digital Discussion System requires minimum maintenance. To ensure for
trouble-free operation, clean and inspect the system components on a regular basis:

Do not use alcohol, ammonia, petroleum solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the system

Storage

If you do not intend to use the CCS 1000 Digital Discussion System for a while:

Bosch Security Systems B.V.
Disconnect the Discussion Devices from the system cabling.
Clean the Discussion Devices with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a weak soap and
water solution.
Wait until the Discussion Devices are fully dry before reconnecting them to the system
cabling.
Clean the Control Unit with a soft cloth, as required.
Check all CCS 1000 Digital Discussion System components for signs of wear and tear.
Replacement Discussion Devices can be ordered from your Bosch representative, if
required.
Check the Discussion Device microphone buttons for correct operation. Is should not be
loose or stick when operated.
Check all connectors and system cabling for damage.
Disconnect the 24 VDC power supply from the mains and from the rear of the Control
Unit.
Disconnect the Discussion Devices from the system cabling.
Store the Discussion Devices, Control Unit and system cabling in a clean, dry area with
sufficient ventilation.
For the maximum and minimum storage temperatures, refer to Technical data, page 46.
