Hot Start Dial
The Hot Start control regulates the starting
current at arc initiation. Hot Start can be set
to '0" and no additional current is added at
arc start. Increasing from 0 to 10 will
increase the additional current (relative to
the preset current) that is added at arc
initiation.
Arc Force Control Dial
Full range selection of arc control from -10
to +10. In CV mode, this control is an
inductance control. In stick mode, the
control adjusts the arc force.
Output Control Dial
Output control is conducted via a single
turn potentiometer.
Adjustment is indicated by the meters.
When in remote modes, this control sets
the maximum welding current or voltage
output. Full depression of a foot or hand
amptrol results in the preset level of
current or voltage.
