Folding right seat bench section for
access to cargo area:
1. Slide seat bench section forward.
2. Push head restraint fully down and
tilt it forward.
3. Pull lock button (1) up, and fold seat
back forward.
4. Move lever (5) up (left arrow), and
fold seat bench section forward.
5. Move lever (5) down (right arrow)
to lock seat bench section in its
folded position.
Resetting seat bench:
1. Move lever (5) up (left arrow), and
unfold seat bench together with seat
back until it locks into place.
2. Move lever (5) down (right arrow)
to lock seat bench section in its
opened position.
3. Pull lock button (1) up, and unfold
seat back to upright position.
Check for secure locking by
pushing and pulling on the backrest.
The backrest lock indicators next to
lock buttons (1) are not visible in
locked position.
4. Pull up and adjust head restraint.
Caution!
Do not remove head restraints except
when mounting seat covers.
For removal refer to Head Restraints in
Index. Whenever restraints have been
removed be sure to reinstall them
before driving.
Head Restraints, Rear
Raising:
Pull up on head restraint.
Lowering:
Press button (arrow) and push down
on head restraint.
Adjust head restraint to support the
back of the head approximately at ear
level. The head restraint angle can
also be adjusted manually.
