2. Loosen screw (2) using wrench
supplied with vehicle tools
(see next page).
3. Push lever (3) to the right, swing
spare wheel carrier down and
pull it out from under the bumper.
4. Remove space-saver spare wheel.
Caution!
Exercise care when removing or
installing spare wheel to prevent
personal injury.
Spare Wheel
(Regular size tire, optional)
Removing spare wheel:
1. Pull on locking lever (1), then
swing spare wheel carrier
outward.
2. Unscrew mounting bolts using
wrench supplied with vehicle
tools (see next page) and lift
spare wheel to the ground.
Important!
Do not drive vehicle with spare
wheel carrier in unsecured and open
position, the taillamp could be
obstructed. Always secure road wheel
and return carrier to closed position
when driving the vehicle.
Note:
Vehicles with optional spare wheel
carrier should not be run through an
automatic car-wash installation.
