SECTION 1
GENERAL
The AAIR
V23
is
a
self-contained, modular.lhree-point restraint system lhal improves protec!ion from serious
he<:ld·impactlnjury during a survivable airplane crash by inclusion of <:In inflatable airbag to the lapbelt portion of
the three-point rcstraint.
An
unbuckled restraint airbag
will
not inflate.
SECTION 2
LIMITATIONS
A child safely seal shall not be used with the V23 AAIR System in
the
fronl seat (co-pilot). A child safety seat
may be used in the rear seat posilions only by attaching Ihe child seal with an auxiliary child seat buckte. The
standard inflatable restraint buckle cannot be used to secure a child safety seat.
The Auxiliary Child Seat Buckle adapter secures a Child Safely Seat to either lell or right positions of the Rear
Seat fOf all models and tho Middle Seals fOf Model 206 (see warning label below). For the Rear seats, it is
typically stored under the cushion and is found in Ihe center of the seat adjacent to the standard AAIR End-
Release Buckle Assembly. For the Middle Seals of Model 206. il is altached at the same allachment point as
the metal strap AAIR End·release Buckle Assy and may be stored under lhe seat cushion. Both Ihese Child
Seat Buckle adapters aro identifiable by part number below and attach

the Airbag Belt portion of the Sealbell
Alrbag Assembly (see diagram),
It is recommended that tho reslraint in an empty co-pilot or passenger seal not be buckted 10 prevenl inflation of
the lapbelt airbag in Ihe unoccupied seal.
