Continuity Measurements
1.
Insert the black test lead into the negative COM terminal and the red test lead into the
positive terminal.
2.
Set the function switch to the position.
3.
Use the M button to select the Continuity mode. Look for the Continuity icon on the
display.
4.
Touch the test probe tips across the wire or circuit under test.
5.
If the resistance is < 10Ω, the beeper will sound continuously. If the resistance is between
10 and 100Ω the beeper may or may not sound. For an open circuit condition the meter will

Continuity Measurement Notes:
Turn off power to the circuit under test and discharge capacitors before measuring
continuity.
Open‐circuit voltage is approx. ‐3.5V
Disconnect test leads and circuit measured after measurements are completed.
