Initial Setup

Setup Menu Overview

The DVD Recorder+VCR Setup menu includes system settings in six categories such as Installation, Recording
Options, Languages, Preferences, System Info and Restore Defaults. Press [SETUP] and [œ/√] on the remote
control to view the first and second levels of the Setup menu.

Menu Navigation

Press [SETUP].
The Setup menu appears.

Use [œ/√] to select the desired option.

While the desired item is selected, press [.../†] to move to the second level.

Press [ENTER] to move to the third level.

Use [.../†] to select the desired setting then press [ENTER] to confirm your selection.
Some items require additional steps. Press [SETUP] at any time to return to the previous menu.

Press [SETUP] to exit the Setup menu.

INSTALLATION Settings

Tuning Band

Press [SETUP].
The Setup menu appears.

Use [œ/√] to select the 'Installation' option.

While the 'Installation' option is selected, press [†] to select
the 'TV/CATV' option.

Press [ENTER] to move to the second level.

Use [.../†] to select the tuning band option (TV or CATV)
then press [ENTER].
TV:
If you are using a standard antenna to receive channels.
CATV:
If you are using basic cable to receive channels.
If the input signal mode is other than channel, like LINE1 and LINE2, tuning band is not changed.
