    Getting started Parent unit battery installation You can power up the parent unt by connectng t to AC power or to the rechargeable battery provded. Even f the parent unt s connected to AC power, we recommend you also nstall the battery. Ths guarantees contnual operaton n case of a power outage.

    Getting started Baby unit and parent unit installation You can power up the baby unt by connectng t to AC power. Install the baby unt as shown below. Bundle the power adapter cord neatly wth a twst te. The baby unt turns on when t s powered up.

    Getting started Positioning the baby monitor Ths baby montor s ntended as an ad. It s not a substtute for proper adult supervson, and should not be used as such. Keep the baby unt out of the reach of the baby. Never place CAUTION or mount the baby unt nsde the baby’s cot or playpen.

    Using your baby monitor Adjust the sound sensitivity of the baby unit You can choose to hear sounds from the baby unt all the tme, or to hear sounds that exceed a certan level. You can use the parent unt to adjust the mcrophone senstvty of your baby unt.

    Using your baby monitor Sound alert Sound alert feature works only when the parent unt s n mute. If you turn on the sound alert, the parent unt beeps when the baby unt detects loud sounds whch lght up four sound level ndcators on the parent unt.

    Using your baby monitor Temperature Your baby unt measures the surroundng temperature. If the detected temperature goes above a desred temperature range, the parent unt screen wll dsplay TOO HOT. If the detected temperature goes below a desred temperature range, the parent unt screen wll dsplay TOO COLD. You can change the settngs for the temperature range and format.

    Using your baby monitor Talk to the baby unit You can broadcast messages from a parent unt to the baby unt and the other parent unt. If you have two parent unts, you can use both of them at the same tme to talk to the baby unt. Press and hold talk on the sde of the parent unt.
