If you have turned on Sound Alert, the parent unit beeps when the baby unit detect sounds while in Split mode (For BM5550AU-2 only). Adjust VOX Sensitivity Level You can set VOX (Voice Activated Alert) sensitivity level to activate parent unit screen and sound when baby unit detects sounds that exceed certain levels. - Page 24 Turn on or off Sound Activation When sound activation is on, as long as no sound is detected within 50 seconds, the parent unit screen will turn off automatically to save power. When your baby unit detects a sound, which exceeds the selected sensitivity level, the sound activation feature triggers the parent unit screen to turn on automatically.
