DOORS LOCKING/UNLOCKING TIME - COMFORT

The standard preset times are
With vehicles having a "comfort" equipment (simultaneous windows closing by turning the
original key in the door lock block), it is possible "to automate" the windows closing on the
system activation delaying the doors locking time or using the status output as timed, according
to the vehicle's features. If necessary, it is possible to let the controls of the doors locking and of
the windows closing be simultaneous, and to preset the opening / closing times at 3 seconds (for
example, vehicles equipped with pneumatic system like MERCEDES W 124 - W 129 series).
With vehicles equipped with security lock activated by the double control on the doors locking
wire, this function can generally be activated.
TEST
The TEST functions allow to easily and quickly control the good working of the buttons, the
ultrasonic sensor and the additional modules both during the installation and later, in case of a
full check of the system. The signalings are given by the buzzer, avoiding the siren alarm.

TEST ACTIVATION

Enter the installer programming mode, then select the TEST wanted. The slow flashing of the
LED after the musical sequence of the siren buzzer with the LED switched off indicates the
TEST has been entered into. The LED is slowly flashing during the TEST (lit fixed only for the

ultrasonic TEST).

MODULES TEST (if connected with the modules input)
The continuous sound of the buzzer and the fixed LED signal an alarm from a module.
WARNING:
- During the TEST the input is instantaneous, but the modules can have their delay on the
activation, or between a two following alarm detection: see the relevant instructions.

BUTTONS TEST

The continuous sound of the buzzer and the fixed LED signal an alarm due to a door, bonnet or
boot opening (it continues till its closing) or due to the activation of one of the modules connected
with these inputs.
WARNING:
- During the TEST both the inputs of the buttons are instantaneous.
- If the buttons are detected by the internal delayed roof lamp, the sound of the buzzer can start
with a little delay (roof lamp gradually switching on) and continue till said roof lamp is
switched off.
- The additional modules (if connected with the buttons input) can have some delay on their
activation or between a two following alarms detection: see the relevant instructions.
ULTRASONIC TEST
The buzzer and the LED signals following the musical sequence indicate the already preset
sensitivity level:
2
= LOW; = MEDIUM (standard setting); = HIGH.
3
The continuous sound of the buzzer indicates, with a little delay, the detection of a movement
inside the protected area causing a real ultrasonic alarm.
The signalling stops with a little delay from the end of the alarm cause.
Continuous BEEPS indicate a tampering on the sensors (check the connections and that the
wiring is not damaged or interrupted).
During the test it is possible to change its sensitivity by pressing the LED button as many times
as follows:
2
= LOW; = MEDIUM; = HIGH. Confirmation by the LED and the buzzer.
3
The last presetting will be the one taken and used by the system.
TEST EXIT
The TEST is stopped only after turning the contact key ON/OFF.
Confirmation given by the usual system desactivation signals and doors unlocking.
