WARNING:
- The procedure cannot be stopped any more once being activated.
- To start the engine and to quit the ANTI-CAR JACKING function, use the MAIN or
PERSONAL emergency code, or the electronic key.
With the anti hi-jack system only 3 system "deblocks" with a duration of maximum 10
secs.
In case of AUTOMATIC mode activation, the emergency key has to be used when the
engine is at rest (or stopping it immediately after the use).
Start the system use again, by the ANTI-CAR JACKING button.
- Pressing the remote control with ignition key off,
warning signal.
- The anti-car jacking "reaction" can change depending on the car equipment and the
connections made.
- After the warning signalings, the ANTI-CAR JACKING function prevents the engine from
starting again (with ignition key turned off for at least 30 seconds), as stated by the European
Directive 95/56/EC.
- Different working or connecting ways invalidate the homologation in compliance with the
European Directive 95/56/EC.

PRE-ALARM FROM DUAL ZONE MODULES

After pairing the system with
ZONE
hyperfrequency, preset to detect 2 concentric areas: entering the first, external one a
warning signal coming from the buzzer of the med main siren is activated for 5 seconds; entering
the second, more internal area the alarm is activated).
Once activated the system, the pre-alarm is active after 30/50 seconds (except some longer
times depending on the type of module being used) and it allows unlimited warnings.

REDUCTION OF THE CURRENT CONSUMPTION

To reduce at the maximum the current consumptions and protect the vehicle's battery life, the
central unit cuts the ultrasonic sensor out and the warning LED after 8 "on duty" days without
any alarms. The ultrasonic sensor activates itself again on any alarm detection from the buttons
or from the ignition key.

LOW BATTERY

If the vehicle's battery slowly gets down (due to some lamps or other devices left on), the siren
desactivates itself without causing any alarms, with the central locking always blocked and the
immobilizer remaining active.
Charge the vehicle battery again following the specific instructions, then desactivate the system
by the remote control, the electronic key or the emergency code.
Feeding the system, short confirmation signal from the buzzer of the siren.

MAINTENANCE

The central unit does not need any maintenance. The remote controls are sealed and when their
internal battery is exhausted (2 lithium batteries average life about 5 years) they have to be
collected and disposed of into the dedicated containers as per each nation's existing
regulations. WARNING: When washing the engine, protect SIR 050 adeguately.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The technical warranty has a duration of 24 months from the date of installation, ex-works, and
covers those parts considered as defective only by A.E.B. S.p.A.
Any other external labor or extra costs are excluded.
