System Desactivation By The Electronic Key; Pin Card; Creation Of The Personal Emergency Code - MED 2200 User Manual

On the LED relighting press the electronic key on its key socket: the LED switches on slightly
vibrating, then, once detached the key, it remains lit fixed and the buzzer gives a continuous
hiss ending with the usual signaling of the system activation without ultrasonic sensor, windows
closing and modules after about 20 seconds.
- The procedure will cut off putting the key again on its key socket or turning the ignition key on.
- The system activates itself completely, except the doors locking.
Close the doors using the vehicle's original system (key or original remote control).

SYSTEM DESACTIVATION BY THE ELECTRONIC KEY

Open the door using the original vehicle's system (original key).
- If the system was activated by the med remote control, the system alarms.
- If it was activated using the key it is possible to desactivate it within 15 seconds avoiding the
alarm from the buttons, the ultrasonic sensor and the additional modules.
- When turning the ignition key on, the system alarms immediately.
Press the key on its key socket: the LED starts vibrating slightly, followed by the doors opening
with the usual system desactivation signaling, followed by the "alarm memory", if any alarms or
anomalies have occurred.

PIN CARD

It is the card supplied in the box, showing the serial number of the central unit and the MAIN
CODE, with the relevant use procedure.
It allows the system desactivation without remote control or electronic key as well as the engine
start after the ANTI-CAR JACKING mode activation.
It allows the keys/remote controls self-learning either to program/add some other or to cancel
the lost ones.
Duplicates available on request at the installer's place giving him the "serial number" of the
central unit.

CREATION OF THE PERSONAL EMERGENCY CODE:

It is possible to create and to memorize a 4 digit PERSONAL CODE to be used in alternative to
the MAIN CODEshown on the PIN CARD (to remember more easily). It has the same functions
of the MAIN CODE and it is used in the same way.
To create or modify it:
- With the system desactivated enter the EMERGENCY CODE (MAIN or PERSONAL) as
shown on the PIN CARD.
- When the confirmation BEEPS end and the LED is switched on fixed again, press the LED
button softly(slowly) within 15 seconds as many times as the first number of the new
PERSONAL CODE to enter.
- When the LED is relighted, press the button softly(slowly) as many times as the second, the
third and the fourth number.
- After 4 BEEPS and 4 flashings, as soon as the LED is lit fixed, repeat in the same way the
insert of the 4 numbers of the new PERSONAL CODE.
- A musical sequence, some flashings and the LED lit fixed again show that the new
PERSONAL CODE is memorized correctly.
Turn on/off the ignition key one time or wait for about 30 seconds.
WARNING:
- A BEEP sequence and some quick flashings of the LED indicate an error in the procedure.
After 30 seconds, repeat it from the beginning.
- Use 4 digits going from 1 to 9. The Ø zero cannot be used.
- Do not use too simple codes such as 1 - 1 - 1 - 1.
- The procedure can be cut off at any time, by turning the ignition key on or waiting for 30
seconds.
- After 15/20 seconds without doing anything the procedure is quitted.
- The PERSONAL CODE can be changed at will, without any limit.
