to protect your eyes.
1. docate the lamp access cover at the bac7 of the fixture head and remove the two Qhillips screws.
2. Qull out the lamp soc7et.
3. If changing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the soc7et.
4. eolding the new lamp by its ceramic base (do not touch the glass), align the small pin on the lamp with
the small hole in the soc7et and insert the lamp sYuarely. =a7e sure that the 4 small proWections on the
base contact the face of the soc7et.
5. Clean the glass bulb with the cloth supplied with the lamp, particularly if your fingers touched the glass.
! clean, lintKfree cloth wetted with alcohol may also be used.
6. Insert the lamp into the fixture with as little twist in the lamp wires as possible.
7. !lign the screw holes and fasten the lamp access plate with 2 screws.
8. If replacing the lamp, reset the lamp hour and lamp stri7e counters as described on page 12.
9. Stri7e the lamp (after setup is complete) and adWust it for optimum performance by turning the three 3mm
lamp adWustment !llen screws one at a time until the brightest part of the beam is centered.
10. If necessary, turn the three screws an eYual amount in or out to remove any hotKspot.

Cleaning

Cleaning schedules for lighting fixtures vary greatly depending on the operating environment. It is therefore
impossible to specify precise cleaning intervals for the =!C 250 Arypton/4ntour. Cooling fans suc7 in
airborne dust and smo7e particles, and in extreme cases fixtures may reYuire cleaning in less than 50 hours
of operation. 4nvironmental factors that may result in a need for freYuent cleaning include:
D ]se of smo7e or fog machines.
D eigh airflow rates (near air conditioning vents, for example).
D Qresence of cigarette smo7e.
D !irborne dust (from stage effects, building structures and fittings or the natural environment, for example).
If one or more of these factors is present, inspect all fixtures within their first 50 hours of operation to see
whether cleaning is necessary. Chec7 again at freYuent intervals. This procedure will allow you to assess
cleaning reYuirements in your particular situation.
