angle or rotation speed are selected on channel 5 (channel 7 in 16Kbit 4xtended mode). Pine tuning of this
index position or rotation is available on channel 6 (channel 8 in 16Kbit 4xtended mode).
The gobo wheel can also rotate continuously in both directions at variable speed.

The =!C 250 4ntour provides an additional wheel with 10 fixed gobo positions (plus open). The gobo and
the type of movement are selected on channel 7 (channel 9 in 16Kbit 4xtended mode). The gobo wheel can
also rotate continuously in both directions at variable speed.

The prism is controlled using channel:
D 8 in 16Kbit mode on the =!C 250 Arypton
D 10 in 16Kbit 4xtended mode on the =!C 250 Arypton
D 9 in 16Kbit mode on the =!C 250 4ntour

The prism may be inserted and removed from the light path. It rotates in both directions at varying speeds.

The course control channel sets first 8 bits (the most significant byte or =Sb), and the fine channel sets the
second 8 bits (the least significant byte or dSb) of the 16Kbit control byte. In other words, the fine channel
fineKtunes the position set by the course channel.

Speed control

The speed control channels are:
D 13 n 14 in 16Kbit mode on the =!C 250 Arypton
D 16 n 17 in 16Kbit 4xtended mode on the =!C 250 Arypton
D 14 n 15 in 16Kbit mode on the =!C 250 4ntour

Trac7ing control for pan/tilt and the various effects is enabled by setting the speed channels to 0.
_ith trac7ing control, the speed at which effects fade from one scene or position to the next (crossKfade
speed) is determined by the controller. The controller divides the move into steps and updates the fixture
with small changes at the rate reYuired to achieve the fade. The fixture itrac7sk the changes and averages
them with a digital filter algorithm to provide smooth movement.

!lternatively, with vector control, effects movement speed is determined by the values selected on the
speed channels. This ma7es it possible to modify the speed of crossKfades when using a controller that
