Operating System Languages
The Android operating system is available in multiple
languages. Select Settings > Languages & input >
Language to view the options and make a selection. Some
unique Mesa 2 settings and apps like Touch Control and the
Barcode Connector are only available in English.

Settings

The Settings app is used to set up many features of the Mesa
2. From the Home screen, select Apps > Settings. You can
also get to settings from the Quick Settings tray discussed
earlier in this section.

Display and Touchscreen

The Mesa 2 has a bright color display and capacitive
touchscreen with a diagonal viewing area of 7 inches
(178 mm). It is easy to view outdoors and is sealed against
water and dust. The The Mesa 2 recognizes touch gestures,
making it easy to use a finger to make selections and
navigate. You can also use the fine tip capacitive stylus
included with the Mesa 2 or optimize it for wet conditions

Touchscreen Profile Settings
To adjust display settings including the font size, brightness,
sleep interval, orientation, go to Settings > Display.
Backlight Brightness
There are a few ways to adjust the display backlight
brightness.
Press the
decrease the brightness.
Pull down the Quick Settings tray. On the horizontal bar,
drag the sun icon to the right to increase the brightness or
to the left to decrease the brightness.
Go to Settings > Display > Brightness level
