Using microSD Card
You can save data, such as the phonebook, mail or
bookmark in the FOMA terminal handset to microSD
Card or import data in microSD Card to the FOMA
terminal handset.
microSD Card is sold separately.
You can purchase microSD Card and its adapter at home
electronics shops.
SH-02B is compatible with commercially available
microSD Card of up to 2 GB and microSDHC Card of up to
16 GB (as of October 2009). Refer to the following sites (in
Japanese only) for the latest information of the microSD
Card. In addition, for microSD Cards that are not provided
in the sites, some of them may not work.

Do not insert or remove a microSD Card while the FOMA
terminal is on. Data may be damaged and the operation
may not work properly.

Data Management

Do not remove the microSD Card or turn off the FOMA
terminal immediately after inserting the microSD Card to
the FOMA terminal, or while editing data on a microSD
Card. Data may be damaged and operation may not work
properly.
Format unformatted microSD Cards on the FOMA terminal
before use. microSD Cards formatted by PCs or other
devices may not be used properly by the FOMA terminal.
When a microSD Card used with another FOMA terminal
or PC is inserted, it may not be used.
Back up the data saved in a microSD Card and store in
another place. DOCOMO shall not be liable for any loss or
change of the saved data.
There is no guarantee for the save and copy of data since
the microSD Card which is not compatible with copyright
protection functions is unsupported by FOMA terminal.
