Basic Operation
Inserting FOMA card and
battery pack
A FOMA card is an IC card that records personal
information, such as phone numbers, etc.
The FOMA terminal does not support the FOMA card
(blue). Change the FOMA card (blue) at a docomo Shop.

Push the back cover in the direction of the
arrow (1), slide approximately 2 mm (2)
and remove the back cover (3)

Pull out the tray straight (1). Set the
FOMA card on the tray with the IC side
turned up (2) and push the tray all the
way in (3)

Turn a recycle mark side up, match tabs
and attach the battery pack

Place the back cover as shown in the
illustration, push and slide it to insert
Turn off the power and insert the FOMA card/battery
pack while holding the FOMA terminal with your both
hands. Note that excessive force may damage the FOMA
terminal, FOMA card and battery pack.
Securely close the back cover. If not closed securely, the
back cover may come off and the battery pack may fall
out due to vibration.
