Using Speed Dialing

With this feature, you can dial your favorite entries using one key press
for locations 2-9. (See "Assigning Speed Dial Numbers" on page xx.)
To use speed dial for voice calls:
From standby mode, press and hold the appropriate key for
approximately two seconds.

From standby mode, press the appropriate key and
press
The display confirms that the number has been dialed when it shows
"Connecting...".
To use speed dial for Push to Talk calls:
From standby mode, press the appropriate key then press and
hold the Push to Talk/Recorder button ( ). (See "Setting Speed
Dialing for Push to Talk Entries" on page xx.)
The display confirms that the number has been dialed when it shows
"PTT calling...".

Using Abbreviated Dialing

Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. It allows you to
dial a number by entering just the last four digits of any number in
your Contacts directory. The Abbreviated Dialing option becomes
available when you enter the last four digits of a phone number and
press Options (right softkey).
To place a call using Abbreviated Dialing:
1.
Dial the last four digits of a contact's phone number.
2.
Press Options (right softkey) to display the dialing options.
3.
Highlight Abbrev. Dial and press
Note:
If there are two or more matched numbers in your Contacts list, the
number that comes first alphabetically will be dialed. If there is no matched
number, your phone dials the number you set for abbreviated dial with the last
4-digits you entered. (See "Setting Abbreviated Dialing" on page xx.)
