Maintenance and
Alignments
5.1

Introduction

This section provides maintenance and alignment information, for the purpose of
routine maintenance, and replacement of various components for the ZHD+ series of
transmitter systems.
5.2
Alignments
See corresponding documentation for specific details of alignment procedures.
5.2.1

Split-Level Combined systems

SLC systems should periodically be checked for best (lowest) reject power. If the reject
power has increased, verify the power out of each transmitter, the SLC FM+HD carrier
levels and possibly readjust the "SLC Phase Adjustment" on the HDx-FM Exciter
(HDx-FM: Output Setup 3/4).
5.3

Maintenance

See corresponding documentation for specific details of maintenance procedures. In
general all air filters should be periodically replaced with clean ones and the entire area
should be kept clean and free of clutter and debris. Vacuum cleaners with disposable
HEPA type bags are prefered over large shop vacs that allow lot of dust to simply pass
through.
