. Install the Wacom Tablet Driver Software
After connecting the hardware to your computer and setting up the PL-500 as a monitor, you must
install the tablet software from the Wacom CD.
Disable any virus protection programs and close all open applications before installing the
software.
Insert the Wacom CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
Double-click on the Install icon. Choose your language option, click OK, and follow the
prompts.
Adobe Acrobat Reader V4.0 or greater is required to view the online Help. When the Wacom
tablet Read Me file displays, select Continue... to install Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Quit to
finish without installing Acrobat Reader.
Restart your computer. You may register your tablet when prompted. (Electronic registration
is only available in some regions.)
You should now be able to use your UltraPen on the tablet to move the screen cursor.
You now need to calibrate the tablet so that the screen cursor position lines up with the position
of the UltraPen. (See Calibrating the PL-500 on page 20.) Be sure you have selected the PL-500
as the monitor to calibrate.
